Season 6 of Fortnite: Battle Royale is finally upon us, and it comes with a whole bunch of map changes, new Battle Pass rewards, skins, pets and lots more.

You can see the full Season 6 Battle Pass here, and the new Battle Pass skins here.

Along with the start of Season 6, we have a whole new week of challenges to solve to help unlock more Battle Pass tiers and work our way toward the tier-100 Dire Outfit, a cool unlockable skin that eventually transforms into a werewolf.

Here are Season 6's first week of Free and Battle Pass Challenges:

Free Challenges

  • Pickup a Legendary Item in (3) different matches – 5 Battle Stars
  • Regain (150) health from a Cozy Campfire – 5 Battle Stars
  • Stage 1: Search (3) Chests (HARD) – 3 Battle Stars
    • Stage 2: Search 2 Supply Drops
    • Final Stage: Unknown

Now, a couple of these challenges are multi-stage and we're going to have to go play through those and figure out what the next stages are. I'll update this post as soon as that happens.

In the meantime, you can find where to dance under seven streetlights right here.

Once you've solved all these challenges, you can find the first hidden battle star for the Hunting Party Challenge here.

The other challenges (beyond the multi-stage ones) are pretty straightforward.

Picking up a Legendary Item is as much about good luck as anything, but one way to have an easy time with this is to join the fight in 50 vs 50 at the center circle and either search a Supply Drop where you're guaranteed a Legendary item, or search the loot drops from a downed friend or foe.

Cozy Campfires are a type of "trap" that you can set but you'll need to set more than one to regain 150 health, so this is something you'll need to do over two or possibly more matches depending on whether you even find one of these or another player sets one down. There should be an abundance of these in Soaring 50s right now.

Regaining 500 shields is also something that will likely take more than one match, though it's just about as simple a task as I can imagine so I'm not going to be much help there. You can use shield potions or Chug Jugs and Slurp Juices to complete this challenge. Chug Jugs have the added benefit of being a Legendary item also.

I'm going to go dive into these challenges (quite literally with the Stage 1 Land at Junk Junction challenge) and see what comes up. I'll update this post shortly. I'll also have an update on the new weekly Hunting Party challenge shortly, and we'll have tons more Fortnite Season 6 coverage so stay tuned for that! Thanks for reading!

Update: Okay I landed in enemy territory at Junk Junction and opened up Stage 2: Land at Tomato Temple. So we'll see what happens from there. Off to open my third chest now.

Update 3: Land at Tilted Towers. Pretty easy.

Update 2: After you search 3 chests the next stage is to search 2 Supply Drops. We'll see where it goes from there.
